O'Connors Seafood Restaurant has been recommended in all of the major food guides including Michelin, Taste of Ireland and Good Food Ireland for years now. Now under the ownership of Shane Spillane, who boasts an impressive pedigree having worked in such places as the excellent Sage in Midleton and perennial favourite The Moorings in Port Magee in Co Kerry. Shane intends to keep the excellent standards that have seen O’Conners lauded by Taste of Ireland, Mckennas Guides and even Michelin.


Enjoy pots of mussels, fresh fish off the day boats and excellent beef and lamb sourced from local suppliers. The restaurant open daily from breakfast right through to the excellent a la Carte in the evenings serving an array of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes cooked to delight. Try their Oysters with Murphy’s Stout (baked with stout and walnuts), followed perhaps by lobster (when in season). Alternatively there may be sea fish such as hake, pan seared and topped with a fresh herb salsa, Bantry Bay crab and Cashel Blue cheese – and their trademark Luxury Seafood Pie is always popular, all served with an abundance of fresh seasonal vegetables.
